Are you new to the world of diving? No worries when you dive with dolphins in Cozumel. Once you arrive at Dolphin Discovery, you'll go through a quick introduction course to prepare you for your dive. Then, it's time to suit up and begin your Cozumel Dive with Dolphins adventure!
You'll be in sensory overload as soon as you dive into the water, where each additional foot of depth seems to bring more sights and sounds. Tour Details
Tour Includes:
- Instructional briefing with PADI certified dive masters
- Scuba diving equipment
- 25 ft diving interaction with dolphins (touch, pet, kiss, hug and jump)

Departures: Runs Monday-Saturday at 12:00pm in Chankanaab Dolphin Center (exact instructions will be on your confirmation voucher).
Length: Approximately 3.5 hours (including diving theory and instruction) but you can use Chankanaab park facilities as long as you want after your dive!

Children: Must be at least 14 years old to participate.
Cruise Ship Passengers: This is the perfect shore excursion for cruise passengers. Chankanaab Park is 5 minutes south of the SSA International Pier (Royal Caribbean, Norwegian, etc.) and the Carnival Pier. Punta Langosta cruise guests are 13 minutes away. An average taxi ride should cost approximately $12usd for up to 4 passengers or $24usd on larger 8 passenger vans.
Restrictions: For safety reasons expecting mothers are not allowed on this program (check-out our dolphin encounter instead! Restrictions apply). Guests with disabilities or health issues, please contact us prior to reserving and let us know of your restrictions so that we can provide you with detailed information and accommodate you as best as possible.
Insider Tip: No need to wait for the diving program to start, you can use Chankanaab as soon as you get to the park (the park is open from 8:00am to 5:00pm). But do be mindful of your schedules, as you're needed at the dolphin center for your check-in 30 minutes prior to the program. If you're traveling with a non-diver, the general entrance to Chankanaab costs $23usd for adults and $16usd for children aged 4-12 (cash in the ticket booth). They can enjoy the park while you dive.
Groups: The largest number of people able to take this program at the same time is 4. If you have a larger group, you may have to take turns. Give us a call with your travel dates on hand so that we can check availability for you and help secure your spaces.
IMPORTANT!! Sunscreen (even bio-degradable) has been proven harmful the Cozumel's marine life. Please bring long-sleeve filtered UV protective clothing for beach use instead.
