Hoverboard, Jetpack, Jetovator or Traditional Flyboard Extreme Water Sports on Los Muertos Beach
dd a little adrenaline and a LOT of fun to your Puerto Vallarta vacation with one of the coolest new water sports in Mexico. Our expert flyboard instructors on Los Muertos Beach will have you mastering the Flyboard, surfing with a Hoverboard, flying like Iron Man on a Jetpack, or riding the waves like a pro on the Jetovator bike. If you are looking for a bit of a challenge with a giant payoff…extreme water sports in Puerto Vallarta are perfect.
All 4 extreme water sports are generally based on the same basic operating principals, water propulsion from a jet ski. So which extreme water sport should you choose? Well, that depends on your riding style.
Flyboard: The original extreme water sport has been bringing people to the shores of Los Muertos Beach for the past 5 years. You are securely strapped into boots attached to the Flyboard. The key to the Flyboard is maintaining your balance heel to toe. You will be using more of your calves and ankles to control the board, a bit more similar to skateboarding. Backflips and dolphin dives are a piece of cake to master on the Flyboard.
Hoverboard: If you spend your winters snowboarding, then the Hoverboard may be a bit more comfortable for you. The Hoverboard is a bit trickier than the Flyboard and requires a bit more control from your hips, upper legs, calves and ankles. Gliding and spins are the most easy to master, and the overall ride is a bit smoother than a Flyboard once you have mastered the balance.
Jetpack: For those who never excelled at board sports, the Jetpack provides a lot of lift and speed without the need to master the balance first. Jetpacks allow you to strap in and dangle your feet rather than working your legs and calves. The sensitive controls are a bit tricky to master at first, but if you relax and let the water flow, you can be walking on water in no time.
Jetovator: If BMX or motocross is more your style of riding, the Jetovator is basically a water propelled stunt bike. The Jetovator can reach cruising speeds up to 40 kph, fly up to 25 feet high and dive 10 feet under. The Jetovator can be a bit tricky at first, but once you master the controls, you can find yourself doing all sorts of cool tricks.
No matter which extreme water sport in Puerto Vallarta you choose, you are guaranteed to have a spectacular day on Los Muertos Beach.
