You’ll get to release a baby turtle into the water, where it will get its sea legs. This is truly a magical experience.

Wild Dolphin Quest & Sea Turtle Expedition Details
Wild Dolphins Quest (Day Trip) Includes:
- 27’ Shaded motor boat expedition across Banderas Bay
- Bilingual friendly and experienced marine biologist with a Masters in Marine Ecology, that will teach you about the different dolphin species and marine life in the Bay
- Hydrophone onboard to seek the dolphin pods
- Light breakfast
- Snacks
- Bottled water and soft drinks
- Full snorkeling gear and safety equipment*

Note: Snorkeling is from a safe distance, our marine biologist will determine when and if it’s okay to interact with the dolphin pod.

Departures: 8:00pm, runs daily from August-November, and Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from December to January. Free pick-up and drop-off is available from Marina Vallarta. Nuevo Vallarta hotel guests meet us directly in the sea turtle camp (exact instructions will be on your confirmation voucher).
Length: Anywhere from 2.5 to 4 hours (the excursion is shorter in December and January because the turtles are no longer nesting; we only have baby turtles).

Children: All ages are welcome. Children under 4 years old are free of charge. Children 4-11 years old pay a discounted rate.
Cruise Ship Passengers: This is an all-day adventure and doesn’t work with cruise itineraries. The baby turtle release is only done during the evening; daylight makes the turtles easy to spot for flying predators.
