Dolphin Encounter Details
Dolphin Encounter in San Jose del Cabo Includes:
Departures: Runs 4 times daily at 9:00am, 11:00am, 1:00pm and 3:30pm. Free pick-up available from Cabo San Lucas, Los Cabos Corridor and San Jose del Cabo hotels.
Length: Approximately 1 hour (check-in required at the dolphin center 30 minutes before dolphin swim).
Dolphin Encounter in San Jose del Cabo Recommendations:
Children: 3.3 ft and under are free of charge but must be accompanied by at least one paying adult (per child). This also applies for children up to 3.9 feet (one adult per child). Children over 3.9 feet and up to 4.6 feet are allowed to participate alone. Children 6-12 years old pay a discounted rate. Children over 4.6 feet pay adult price.
Cruise Ship Passengers: This is a great shore excursion for cruise passengers! Note that you’re needed for check-in at the dolphin center 30 minutes before your program, and the shuttle is shared, so in total, pick-up is approximately an hour and 20 minutes prior to the schedules shown. Pick-up is within walking distance of the tender boat pier you’re arriving to.
Restrictions: Expecting mothers are allowed on this program up until 5 months of pregnancy, only after signing a liability waiver and must be accompanied by another adult. Guests with disabilities or health issues, please contact us prior to reserving and let us know of your restrictions so that we can provide you with detailed information and accommodate you as best as possible.
Insider Tip: If someone in your family doesn’t want to participate in the dolphin swim itself, they can pay the transportation fee (rate depends on the hotel location, contact us for more info!).
Groups: The largest number of people able to take this program at the same time is 15. If you have a larger group, you may have to take turns. Give us a call with your travel dates on hand so that we can check availability for you and help secure your spaces.
